I was laying face down on the parking lot pavement of the bank where I had been a customer for the past 30 years. A couple blocks from my home, the bank rested in the shadow of the church where I served as pastor for most of my adult life. Living Under an Open Fountain

About 500 years before Jesus birth, Zechariah prophesied that there would be “A fountain opened in the house of David….” (Zechariah 13.1) I am pulled in by this beautiful imagery of an open fountain pouring forth from the House of David, perched high on the precipice of Mount Zion; Waters of life running downstream; cleansing, healing and refreshing the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Helmet Reflections and Table Dynamics

Friday I had to work in El Centro and it is 110 miles from my home. I drive my Goldwing motorcycle and once I put my helmet on, my thoughts always seem to get stuck on one subject. Being with YWAM for six months in Hawaii and India was the best time of my life.  As soon as I stepped onto the University of the Nations campus, I was surrounded by young people on fire for Jesus.  The presence of God was thick and everywhere I went people were worshipping, praying, reading the word, and discussing the greatness of the Lord.
